Brute Status Shopify case study

The Brief

Brute Status sells performance parts and accessories through a large, detailed product catalog. The store needed to accommodate technical information clearly and serve trade customers alongside the wider retail audience.

Our brief was to migrate the business from Wix to Shopify, including hundreds of products, customer records and order history. The move also created an opportunity to rebuild collections and product pages around more consistent browsing and easier comparison of the specifications customers use to assess products.

Our Approach

We moved the product catalog, customer list and order history to Shopify, preserving the core trading information that connected the new store with the existing business. We then rebuilt collections to give the extensive range a clearer and more consistent organisation.

Product pages were structured around accessible technical specifications. We focused on how information was presented and compared, giving the detail a defined place within the shopping experience. For a catalog with many products, consistency across these pages was central to making the range easier to work through.

We incorporated B2B functionality to support trade customers, ensuring their needs had a place within the store's wider ecommerce setup. Essential app integrations also supported the practical operation of the business and the management of its product range.

Responsive layouts and attention to mobile performance helped keep the catalog usable across devices. An organised SEO structure completed the build, connecting the technical foundation with the collection and product architecture developed during the migration.

The Outcome

We delivered a Shopify store that brings Brute Status's product range, trading records and trade customer requirements together. The rebuilt collections and consistent product pages give technical information a clearer role in the customer journey.

The business has an ecommerce platform for managing its existing catalog and serving retail and B2B audiences, with a structure that can accommodate further products as the range develops.
